The doublespeak is amazing. I will use this podcast with teenagers to demonstrate what educated lying sounds like. We teach Torah to broken individuals and nonjews, but anyone educated should stay clear of us. Yes hes an apikores, but we count him as an integral member of our team. We use our pulpit to support gay relationships on public, social, and private level, but we against it halachically. Repeated yes or no questions with long winded and indicisive answers.

I am a Conservative rabbi who is a fan of the podcast. Great episode and great interview, exposing the nonsense of Open Orthodoxy. I have no intellectual respect for Chovevei Torah. Their teachers are roshei yeshiva seem incoherent and inconsistent. I know the principles of Conservative Judaism very well - and these are Conservative rabbis masquerading as Orthodox by using apologetics and ridiculous excuses. Shkoyach to Rav Feldman for speaking emes.

Well thank you R Dovid for exposing that there are some severely troubled and troubling attitudes out there masquerading under the guise of rabbis and educators of Torah. Especially incredible is the attitude that falsifying Torah to attract post modern minds is somehow a kiddush Hashem. That seems pretty warped especially since חותמו של הקבה אמת or maybe that too is not true.
